The folks over at Square Enix have revealed a detailed account of what the Hitman: Absolution Professional Edition will have in store for gamers when it releases later this year along with the standard version. Real life as well as in-game content have been kicked into the Professional Edition of this much anticipated stealth-action title.
Firstly, it contains a premium hardcover art book featuring a foreword from game director, Tore Blystad. Moreover, there’s also an exclusive behind-the-scenes ‘making of’ video to be watched by gamers who purchase this pack. And all this will be dished out in a black colored clamshell box.
Buyers of the limited edition bundle will even be provided with access to various in-game items which come in the form of Agency Weapons. For silent assassins, there’s the Agency Jagd P22G pistol, while those who like to enter fights head on, will have the Agency HX UMP SMG and the Agency SPS 12 semi-automatic shotgun to choose from.
The game’s first trailer was revealed at last year’s E3, but it is still to receive a definite release date. Our recent list of Upcoming PC Games 2012 list had featured the title along with the likes of Diablo III, Max Payne 3, BioShock Infinite and Borderlands 2. The story of this new offering involves Agent 47 having been betrayed by the ones he trusted. He must now track down the traitors in order to uncover the conspiracy.
The Hitman: Absolution Professional Edition is now available for pre-order through retailers at a price of 79.99 USD (approx. Rs. 4,120).
