As reported by us on Monday, free demos of Twisted Metal and Syndicate have been outed via PSN as part of this week’s PS Store update. Other highlights among this content include a new puzzler named Puddle as well as downloadable versions of Madden NFL 12, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men and Mini Ninjas.
Both the demos of Twisted Metal and Syndicate provide players with the opportunity to experience the multiplayer components of their final versions. While the demo of Twisted Metal offers online multiplayer matches in classic Free for All or the new Nuke mode, the demo of Syndicate includes support for 4 player co-op. The new PSN title, Puddle, involves guiding fluids through a variety of different environments and can now be purchased by gamers at a price of 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 495).
Madden NFL 12, which was released back in August 2011, can be downloaded for the PS3 at 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,480). Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days and Mini Ninjas retail at 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 990) each, whereas Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is priced at 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 740). Apart from a full game trial of Madden NFL 12, this PS Store update also brings two free avatars and a dynamic theme for PS Plus subscribers.
Yesterday also marked the release of the Ryder White DLC for Dead Island, which can now be picked up from the PS Store at 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 495). Moreover, offering new cars for Need for Speed: The Run, the Italian Pack for this game now sells at 6.99 USD (approx. Rs. 345). As Soulcalibur V released in North America yesterday, its first DLC has gone live on PSN with a price tag of 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 100). For PSP gamers, a full game download of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact now retails on the PS Store at 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,975).
Besides all the aforementioned content, a number of themes, videos, avatars and DLCs have also been released through this week’s PS Store update.
