Soulcalibur V to Get Three Premium DLC Packs in February

Soulcalibur V might still be a few days away from its launch, but that hasn’t stopped Namco Bandai Games from announcing three premium DLC packs for the European version of this fighting game. Said to be filled with exclusive new customization items as well as in-game music, these packs will all be released periodically, in the month of February.

On the game’s launch day, that’s February 3, the first premium DLC will go on sale, providing buyers with options for nine new customization items which include bikinis, wings and face paint. This pack will also comprise original music from Soul Blade and Soulcalibur. Subsequently, on February 14, the second DLC will land on the scene making available nine more customization items such as a breast plate, kimono and animal heads. And then, it’ll all include original music from Soulcalibur II and III.

The final content of this schedule will be outed on February 28 with an additional nine customization options that consist of a mask, face paint, camouflage and skull. Moreover, this DLC will also kick in original music from Soulcalibur IV and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. This sixth installment to the popular fighting series will be outed for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 3, 2012. The story of this game picks up seventeen years after the events of Soulcalibur IV and also features Ezio Auditore da Firenze from the Assassin’s Creed series as a guest character.

All the above mentioned DLCs for Soulcalibur V will be priced at 1.99 Euros on PSN and 160 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live, each. Gamers will also be able to purchase individual tracks from these DLCs at 0.99 Euros or 80 Microsoft Points.
