In early 2007, Electronic Arts had announced had a music game called as Boogie for the Nintendo Wii. The game was later announced for the DS and the PS2 also. Now EA has sent word that songs of pop singer and songwriter Natasha Bedingfield will feature in the sequel of the game, Boogie SuperStar.
Steve Schnur is the worldwide executive for music and marketing at EA. He says, “Boogie SuperStar represents a new level in the convergence of games and music. We have combined the very best interactive capabilities of the Wii technology with the Boogie brand to form an unprecedented soundtrack featuring the hottest new tracks made famous by the biggest artists in the world. We have been actively involved in Natasha’s career since its inception, and we’re proud to have a star like her actively involved.”
Natasha Bedingfield commented, “Boogie SuperStar brings to life all the fun and excitement of performing. Being on stage is such a thrill and it’s great to be a part of an EA video game that lets girls experience how much fun it is to express themselves and explore their own creativity by performing.”
Besides Natasha Bedingfield, songs of music artists such as Paula Abdul, Good Charlotte and Kanye West feature in Boogie SuperStar for the Nintendo Wii. There are nearly forty songs. Here are some the of songs that feature in Boogie SuperStar:

Boogie SuperStar is being developed exclusively by EA Montreal EA Montreal under the EA Casual Entertainment Label. The game will be released sometime in October 2008 and will come with a price tag of Rs. £49.99 (approx. Rs. 4000) as it will feature a microphone. This is not the first time singer Natasha Bedingfield has worked with EA as previously she has featured in the Sims 2 OST.
