Boogie Announced for PS2 and Nintendo DS by EA

When Boogie was first announced for the Wii, it was understood that the game could also find its way to the DS! Now Electronic Arts (EA) has announced the game for the Nintendo DS as well as PS2. The handheld will have a unique 3D gameplay and the pack will be shipped with special glasses.

    Boogie on Nintendo DS introduces new gameplay modes and mini-games not found in the Wii version for easy gaming on the go. The game’s unique modes include DS Download Play and Multi-Card Play, three main dancing gameplay modes including Copycat, Freestyle and Choreography as well as more than 10 mini-games. Gamers can also dive into the career mode for a deeper experience as they embark on a quest to become the Boogie Master.

    Boogie on the PlayStation 2 showcases the game’s signature dancing and singing gameplay. Gamers can sing along to their favorite tunes or dance to the latest hit songs as well as catch their best dance moves, record their own voice and make music videos with the music video creator.

Boogie is an all new IP that was developed at the Montreal studios of EA. It also features new versions of songs made popular by hit bands such as The Jackson 5, Kool & The Gang, Black Eyed Peas and Britney Spears. Boogie for the Nintendo DS and PS2 is expected to release in the holiday season of 2007. As for the Wii version, it has already been released and has received decent reviews.
