Marvel Pinball 3D – the 3DS version of Zen Studios’ successful pinball game, has landed on the eShop with this week’s list of Nintendo downloadable games which also contains a demo of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance]. Other releases include a 3DS exclusive named Bomb Monkey, two DSiWare titled Flip the Core and Escape the Virus: Swarm Survival, as well as another 3DS demo of Rhythm Thief & the Emperor’s Treasure.
Described to be the ultimate superhero pinball experience, Marvel Pinball 3D proffers gamers with original tables that are designed on the lines of iconic characters from the Marvel universe. It sells now on the eShop at 7.99 USD (approx. Rs. 445). Demos of both Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] and Rhythm Thief & the Emperor’s Treasure are available for free through the same service.
Bomb Monkey is a new 3DS title in the latest catalog of Nintendo downloadable games which revolves around Blok Bombing, said to be an ancient sport devised by a troop of primates. Gamers must work their fingers in order to stop the bloks from rising in the air and knocking their characters down. It is priced on the eShop at 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 280). This week marks the beginning of Nintendo’s Game of the Weekend program which will offer discounts on several games every week. This week, VVVVVV is being offered at 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 280) instead of its original price tag of 7.99 USD (approx. Rs. 445). The discount is valid only till July 1, 2012.
Next in line is Flip the Core, which is claimed to be an artistic take on the classic shoot ’em up genre. Combining shooting action with strategy, this game presents players with the option to flip the camera so as to open up new passage ways and escape routes. On the other hand, Escape the Virus: Swarm Survival is a chain-forming title that asks players to dodge, wind and jump to link all pieces of DNA while battling with deadly viruses. Both these games are downloadable now for the DS at 200 Points each.
