Ni No Kuni: Wrath of The White Witch Wizard’s Edition set to arrive in January 2013

The Ni No Kuni: Wrath of The White Witch Wizard’s Edition is gearing up to hit EMEA and Australasian territories along with the standard copies of this game. Earlier scheduled to arrive late in 2012, the JRPG will now be launched for the PS3 on January 25 next year.

Ni No Kuni Wizard’s Edition

Apart from a copy of the game, the Wizard’s Edition will kick in a 300+ hardback physical copy of The Wizard’s Companion which is the same spellbook the main character Oliver uses throughout his journey within the title. This full-color book will contain a bestiary of all the creatures found in the game, while it will even offer in-depth item descriptions, spells and a history of the other world. A doll of Drippy, who’s Oliver’s guide through his adventures, will be bundled with the Wizard Edition as well.

And then there will also be two exclusive DLC packs for the game which will come in the form of golden mite and golden drongo familiars. Those who pre-order the standard copies of this title via select retailers will receive two exclusive familiars – flutterby and griffy, developed especially for the western release. This new installment under the Ni No Kuni franchise tells the story of Oliver, who sets out on a journey into another world so as to and bring his mother back from the dead.

Pricing of the Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Wizard’s Edition is still to be confirmed by Namco Bandai Games. It is slated to launch across EMEA and Australasian regions for the PS3 on January 25.
