Capcom’s classic side scrolling adventure, Bionic Commando has made its way into this week’s list of Nintendo downloadable games along with other titles like VVVVVV, Cake Ninja and Slingo Supreme. Moreover, Wii owners can now download a new WiiWare named Carmen Sandiego Adventures in Math: The Big Ben Burglary.
Available exclusively for the 3DS, Bionic Commando lets players assume the role of Rad Spencer, member of an elite clan of commandos who serve the Federation. When the Federation’s greatest soldier, Super Joe is detained by the Doraize Army, it is time for Rad to wield his grappling gun and rescue Joe. Ninteen levels are said to be a part of this side-scrolling platformer.
VVVVVV, which is also a 3DS exclusive, can be identified for its 8-bit style graphics. This puzzle platformer has Captain Viridian and his crew shut in strange labyrinths and it is the Captain’s gravity-flipping abilities that will help them escape this trap. Next on the list of this week’s Nintendo downloadable games is Slingo Supreme which supposedly allows gamers to craft more than 16,000 levels and participate in unlimited Daily Challenges.
Cake Ninja is a Fruit Ninja-like game that involves cakes instead of fruits. Gamers can make use of the stylus to cut slices across the screen. And there’s also a multiplayer mode for them to jump into. Both Slingo Supreme and Cake Ninja can be downloaded on the 3DS as well as the DSi. This week’s only WiiWare is Carmen Sandiego Adventures in Math: The Big Ben Burglary, which comprises math puzzles that need to be solved in order to solve a mystery.
Bionic Commando from this week’s Nintendo downloadable games can be purchased now from the eShop at a price of 3.99 USD (approx. Rs. 210), whereas VVVVVV retails on the same service at 7.99 USD (approx. Rs. 425). While Slingo Supreme sells on the DSi Shop for 800 Points and the eShop for 7.99 USD (approx. Rs. 425), Cake Ninja can be picked from the same channels at 500 Points and 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 265) respectively.
