In a move that may make potential Xbox One buyers rethink their decisions, Sony is all set to offer a PS4 bundle in Europe which will contain added bonuses like a copy of Killzone: Shadow Fall, 2 DualShock 4 controllers and a PS Eye camera. The interesting part about it is that all this will be offered at a price of 499.99 Euros (approx. Rs 43,400), the same cost at which a standard Xbox One with just one controller and a Kinect sensor is supposed to be made available.
This limited edition bundle is still to be officially unveiled by Sony, but it has nonetheless landed for pre-order on Amazon France. Like we said, apart from the 500GB PS4 console, it will comprise a copy of Guerilla Games’ much anticipated PS4-exclusive, Killzone: Shadow Fall. And while the standard PS4 package comes only with a single DualShock 4 controller, this bundle will offer 2 along with the new PS Eye camera. This latter component was earlier supposed to be a part of the standard package, but Sony had decided against the decision in order to bring the PS4’s price down.
Microsoft’s choice of making the Kinect a mandatory purchase along with the Xbox One is now proving to be quite a liability for the company, with Sony offering far greater value with this bundle. And while this is just the European side of things, we’re still to see what the Japanese giant has in store for other regions.
The PS4 is slated to be released in North America on November 15 and in Europe on November 29. The Xbox One on the other hand, is still to receive its launch information.
