The level of creativity that Minecraft gives flight to is sometimes unfathomable. We’ve seen plenty of grand structures being built by committed players ever since the game has been in existence and now one more such structure has grabbed our eye. It’s a village with trees and bridges that’s actually floating high up in the sky.

Now building such a structure is not as easy as taming a parrot in Minecraft or creating a small barn. Incredible amounts of skill and hard work are needed in order to create such structures. Moreover, this one has been created in Survival mode, which makes it even more praiseworthy.

The first question that pops into your mind then is how did the player get there in the first place? Well apparently, this was achieved through the Elytra Pro addon that allows Minecraft’s elytra item to fly infinitely instead of temporarily.

This incredible sky village has been created by Reddit user jofcroxford. It includes a couple of floating islands connected by bridges. Small cottages also exist on these islands along with cherry blossom trees. “This is what you build to retire in when your survival world becomes too OP,” reads the title of jofcroxford’s post.

Minecraft was recently blessed with its long-awaited The Wild update, which brought into the game a wide variety of new stuff. There was the new deep dark biome featuring deep underground areas with low erosion and the mangrove swamps biome with its ability to let you harvest mangrove trees.

Mojang has also been releasing a steady stream of tie-in DLCs for Minecraft. The latest one among them was the Spongebob DLC, which contained 40 new skins, six quests, and plenty of other content.
