Halo Infinite’s Forge Mode Leaks Ahead Of Beta Release

Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite still hasn’t been released in its entirety, with the Forge Mode being the last piece of the puzzle. This customization mode also seen in past Halo games has now been thrown some light on thanks to a number of leaked videos that have appeared online.

Currently, Halo Infinite’s co-op campaign mode is available in its open beta form. The free-to-play multiplayer mode is also running in full swing, with players from all over the world indulging in intense first-person shooter action and some even spoiling all the fun by using tools like xResolver.

The next release in the game’s calendar will be Forge mode. This mode was first introduced back in 2007 with the release of Halo 3. It’s basically meant to allow players to customize, save, and share maps for custom games.

That being said, the leaked videos of Halo Infinite’s Forge mode have come from YouTuber Helioskrub. One of these videos shows the player building a makeshift barricade in order to block a window. This seems to allude that a Zombies survival mode, like the one in Call of Duty games, might be possible to create in Forge mode.

Another video shows a ‘Pack-a-Punch’ machine in which gamers can deposit their weapons and with enough points, upgrade them to their campaign versions. This is with reference to the weapons in Halo Infinite’s multiplayer modes being severely underpowered compared to them in the campaign. Several other such videos are available to view on Helioskrub’s YouTube channel.

Halo Infinite first became playable in its free-to-play multiplayer form in November last year. Then came its campaign release but it was unfortunately not playable in co-op at launch. The campaign co-op beta is live currently but sans any online matchmaking support.
