Minecraft’s The Wild Update Now Available For Download

Minecraft The Wild

Minecraft version 1.19, which contains the game’s new The Wild update, is live now for all platforms. Like every big upgrade for the game, this one too brings with it plenty of new additions that greatly enhance the gameplay.

For instance, if you’re looking to build a Minecraft barn, you’ll have new locations to build it on, as well as, fresh materials to use in its construction. The Wild update introduces two new biomes, many new mobs, and some refreshing mechanics to the game.

Some of the features that form part of this Minecraft release were originally intended for the Caves & Cliffs 2 update. However, development delays have led those to become part of this one.

Deep dark is the first new biome that is being introduced to the game. It’s a cave biome that generates deep underground in the Overworld. This is the only biome where ancient cities can generate and is home to the new mob called the warden.

The second new biome is the Mangrove swamp, which is a variant of the existing swamp biome within Minecraft. It adds new mud blocks, a mangrove tree, and more into the mix. Moreover, Frogs also form part of this biome.

Initially, the Mangrove swamp was supposed to include Fireflies as well. However, the developers suddenly removed decided to remove them, leading to widespread discontent among fans.

Minecraft developer Mojang recently announced that the game’s Java and Bedrock editions are being merged into one for PC gamers. This means, that only a single purchase will let them take advantage of both versions of the game. While the Java Edition is preferred for its modding capabilities, the Bedrock Edition is meant for cross-platform play.

As we said, Minecraft’s The Wild update can be downloaded now on all versions of the game.
