Titanfall 2 details leaked, grappling hook gameplay and more in store

If new leaked details about Titanfall 2 are to be believed, we are in for quite a treat when the game is released by EA in the near future. It is being said that this first-person shooter will allow players to use a grappling hook, among other things.

Titanfall 2’s grappling hook will be accompanied by mecha swords which were confirmed by a teaser video released by its makers not too long ago. An image that is believed to be the artwork of the game has also come to the fore, giving us a deeper look at its offerings.

This information was found posted on Reddit (via Eurogamer), but it has now been deleted by the user responsible for the leak. Apparently, the grappling hook will allow Titanfall 2 gamers to get into their Titans faster. It will also enable new traversal mechanics, techniques involving pulling enemies and more.

The artwork seems to be a full version of the part that can be found posted on the game’s official website in blurred form. It appears to suggest that even Titans will be able to wallrun in the next game. Maps will apparently be much bigger this time around, according to the leak.

This is not a surprise since the original Titanfall faced restrictions due to its presence on the Xbox 360. It will supposedly arrive in October which is strange as this release date will pit the game against not only Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, but also Battlefield 1, which is an EA offering.

We’re sure to learn more about Titanfall 2 at the upcoming E3 event; so stay tuned until then.
