Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare revealed by trailer, space setting confirmed

We have finally been treated to the official trailer of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare which will be released by Activision on November 4 this year. The first footage confirms speculation that the game will feature missions involving space warfare. Also, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has been confirmed.

In the trailer of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, there is no mention of the platforms for which this game will be launched. This once again indicates that the next-gen PS4K and Xbox One’s equivalent of the same will be arriving this year, and details about them will be revealed at E3.

Infinity Ward is the developer behind Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It has been described as a game that returns to the roots of the franchise, and focuses on large-scale war and cinematic military storytelling. Not much is known about the plot, but it does involve humans fighting against the Settlement Defence Front to defend our very way of life.

Another big surprise is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. This title will contain the game’s campaign as well as 10 multiplayer maps. However, what’s unfortunate is that the remastered game will be given as a pre-order bonus of the Infinite Warfare’s Legacy Edition. We’re sure that the game will enter usual retail space later on, but there’s no word on when that will happen right now.

Like we said, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is slated for a November 4 release worldwide. Although we don’t know the exact platforms it will be landing on, it’s safe to say that PC, PS4 and Xbox One will be getting it, aside from the highly speculated more powerful versions of the two aforementioned consoles.
