Battlefield 3 End Game expansion details pop out

The final chuck of the game’s planned expansion packs, called Battlefield 3 End Game, has been detailed by the folks over at DICE. According to the add-on’s page on the title’s official website, this DLC is filled with ‘high-speed warfare’ which is set to take place across ‘vast maps.’ The release date information about it is still under wraps, but as usual, Premium subscribers will be able to grab it before others. One of the most intriguing aspects about the add-on is that it will allow players to take control of a new dirt bike while in combat.

As spotted by Joystiq, the page of the DLC reveals that the high-speed warfare that will make its way to the expansion will be accompanied by a total of four maps. Moreover, three fresh vehicles will also been seen in it, including the ‘fast and agile’ dirt bike and lightweight AA vehicles. The classic Capture The Flag game mode would be introduced by it as well. Another new feature in the Battlefield 3 End Game expansion is a dropship which will provide support to ground troops with vehicle drop capabilities.

First among the five DLC packs that were announced for the game was Back to Karkand, and was launched in December last year. Its main highlight was its pack of four BF2 maps remade for this game. And then there was the Close Quarters add-on which came out in June this year with its mound of new additions. Armored Kill was released in September 2012, and kicked in tanks, ATVs and mobile artillery, among other traits. And then came Aftermath which launched in November with its new features.

While these expansions are available to be purchased at 15 USD (approx. Rs. 830) each, buying a Premium subscription at 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,755) grants gamers extra savings. Those who’re yet to jump into the game however can go for its Premium Edition which already packs in the subscription and also includes a copy of the title. It sells at 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,310).
