Assassin’s Creed: Liberation was launched by Ubisoft late last year, as a PS Vita exclusive complete with support for the console’s touch controls and dual analog sticks. Set between the period of 1765 and 1777, it has its story focus on Aveline de Grandpré, the first female protagonist for the series. It takes place around the end of the French and Indian War in 18th century New Orleans.

Apart from updated graphics suitable for bigger screens, Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD will also be seen tagging along new missions and a host of other enhancements. This year’s big title AC IV: Black Flag is only a few days away from its launch, and it’d be interesting to see if it’ll carry forward the series success run.
