The latest PS Store update is being headlined by one of the most anticipated games of this year – Assassin’s Creed 3 which can be picked up now through PSN. Besides, its Vita cousin, Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation has also landed on the service along with Need for Speed: Most Wanted which sells for the PS3 as well as the PS Vita, and Okami HD – the re-mastered, PS Move-compatible version of the classic yesteryear game.
Assassin’s Creed 3 sells on PSN at a price of 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,245), while its Gold Edition which packs in a Season Pass, goes for 89.99 USD (approx. Rs. 4,870). On the other hand, Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation is priced at 35.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,947). And for those wishing to purchase both the games, there’s a bundle as well, which contains the PS3 game, the PS Vita game and a Season Pass for the former. It is priced at 119.99 USD (approx. Rs. 6,495).
Another one of the main highlights of this week’s Store update is Need for Speed: Most Wanted. This reboot to the popular 2005 title is now available via PSN at a cost of 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,245). Its PS Vita version goes for 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,165). New PSN entrants, Sports Champions 2, Twisted Metal and Toy Story Mania are each placed at 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,165) too.
Okami HD, Capcom’s revamped version of the original classic has landed for the PS3 finally, and is purchasable now at a price of 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,080). For the Vita, new games like Ragnarok Odyssey, LEGO Lord of the Rings and Smart As have come out, and while the former two can be bought at 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,165) each, the latter sells at 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,620).
PSP owners can download NBA 2K13 and I Am An Air Traffic Controller Airport Hero Haneda for 19.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,080) each, and the PS2 Classic, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Rise to Power goes for 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 540) on the PS3. For PS Plus subscribers, there are no free games coming in through this week’s PS Store update, but a few new discounts which we mentioned yesterday, have gone live indeed.
