Taking the series’ alternate history theme to an extremely new level, Ubisoft has revealed that the George Washington DLC of Assassin’s Creed 3 will portray the leader as a tyrant king. Dubbed The Tyranny of King George, this content will be divided in three parts, and will indeed form part of this game’s Season Pass which will be made available for its PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions.

As the bizarre storyline of the said DLC goes, George Washington has surrendered himself to the temptation of infinite power. By becoming king of the newly liberated America, he has imposed tyranny on the land, forcing Connor to dethrone him for the good of the nation. This narrative will be told via three episodic content packs, which will be included Season Pass’ offerings. Gamers must note that two more packs out of the total five planned DLC of this deal are still tp be revealed.
This Season Pass will be released after the game’s launch, and will offer 25 percent combined savings on all the DLC, as compared to purchasing them separately. Moreover, owners of the pass will have access to the content a week before others. It can be pre-ordered now through GameStop and Best Buy. A definite release date for the same hasn’t been disclosed yet.
The Assassin’s Creed 3 Season Pass has its price tagged at 2400 Microsoft Points for its Xbox 360 version, and 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,555) for the PSN and PC editions. Ubisoft has confirmed that the DLC will be released for Wii U as well.
