In a recent announcement made by Take-Two Interactive Software, the GTA V release date has been divulged for sometime during spring of 2013. The game will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles at launch, while pre-orders are slated to commence shortly.
The title is said to be the fifteenth release in the series and the ‘most ambitious’ GTA game till date. It’s set to take place in the city of Los Santos and it will be the follow up to Grand Theft Auto IV title that released back in 2008. The gameplay here will allow players to freely roam the virtual world, complete missions and even take on others in online multiplayer.
GTA was first rumored to launch sometime this year. But a recent leak suggested that it will be commercially available next year instead. Today’s report confirms that. In recent news, Rockstar Games plan on launching a mobile optimized version of the Grand Theft Auto Vice City title for the Android and iOS platform this fall as a celebration of the game’s 10-year anniversary. It also offered previous releases for both operating systems at a discounted rate.
Though the GTA V release date has been announced there aren’t any price details disclosed as yet for the game. However, pre-orders are expected to commence on November 5, 2012, in stores globally where cost details should arise. The title will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles during spring of next year. Release date information for the PC version hasn’t been mentioned as yet, leaving those who prefer the said platform in quite a tizzy.
