The Walking Dead Episode Two – Starved for Help is out now on Xbox Live, and tomorrow will see the title being launched for the PS3, PC and Mac. A European PSN release date is still to be revealed by Telltale Games. This download is said to offer players a tailored game experience which will shape the story based on the decisions made by them in episode 1.
This new episode will continue the story of Lee Everett, asking gamers to deal with the consequences of the choices made by them in the first episode. This way, based on their individual decisions, the story of one player can be significantly different from that of any other’s. The video posted below contains scenarios from episode one and it reveals what choices were made by maximum number of gamers. It however contains spoilers for those who are yet to play the first part.
Alan Johnson, Manager of Public Relations and Social Media, Telltale Games, mentioned on the official PlayStation blog, “Hopefully by now, you’re hungry for more information about Episode Two – Starved for Help. Let’s just say that if you thought Episode One – ‘A New Day’ had some nasty, stomach-churning moments, you’re probably going to need a bucket at hand (and perhaps a box of tissues for tears; this episode made our PR manager cry) for episode two!”
Titled A New Day, the first episode of this game was launched to much acclaim in April this year. The title is based on Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead comic book series, and it comprises action as well as role-playing elements. It has been developed by Telltale Games, a studio known for Jurassic Park: The Game which was launched in November last year.
The Walking Dead Episode 2 now sells on Xbox Live at 400 Microsoft Points. Upon its release for the PS3, it will be doled out at a price of 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 285). PC and Mac users meanwhile are required to buy the entire five episode season pass at 24.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,430).
