PC version of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier faced with Several Bugs

From what can be gathered from Ubisoft’s forums for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the PC game seems to have been shipped as a half-finished version, as a large number of bugs are being reported by gamers currently. In response to player queries, the developer has stated that its team is working ‘aggressively’ in order to clear the issues as soon as possible.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Following a delay, the PC version of Future Soldier was released on June 26, about a month after its console launch. And as far as gamer reaction is concerned, this title has been receiving quite some flak, as can be judged from the problems being posted on its official forums. One of the most common and shocking issues is that both the WASD keys and the mouse have not been working at atll for some gamers, despite the fact that they don’t have any controllers hooked on to their PCs.

There are even complaints about the title’s resolution, which point out that it is caught at 720p, regardless of any manual changes. Some players also mentioned that the in-game menus are displaying Xbox buttons, despite no controllers being plugged in. Serious framerate drops are being experienced by some, whereas others are even complaining about getting disconnected from the game’s online servers. The title’s sounds, menus and graphics are also glitchy, report some users.

Considering the long delay suffered by the PC version of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, it is quite surprising that the game is faced with so many problems. We recently reviewed its PS3 version, giving it an Overall score of 8/10, and as we’ve mentioned in it, this version too experiences some crash issues.
