The Jurassic Park franchise which came to fore in the 90s just refuses to lose its sheen even as a fresh new game titled Jurassic Park: The Game readies itself for a November release. Telltale Games has confirmed to IGN that it is ‘targeting’ a November 15 launch date for the title. It will be released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Jurassic Park: The Game

Gamers who own the Xbox 360 would have to purchase a retail disc that will encompass the entire season of this title. This third-person adventure title will also be making its way to the iPad. No definite launch date for this version has been confirmed as of yet. Jurassic Park: The Game was announced last year and was supposed to hit markets this April. But later it was declared that the title will see a delay in order to give it a PC release.

The Jurassic Park franchise is based on story that involves a disastrous attempt to create a theme park of cloned dinosaurs. The first novel was written by Michael Crichton after which the rights were bought by Universal Studios who has since then made 3 films on it. This franchise has also served as a base for various games on platforms like NES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy and SNES.

If all goes well, Jurassic Park: The Game will be released by Telltale on November 15. The launch date of the iPad version has not been revealed yet.
