Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for PSP hits stores

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together was initially released more than fifteen years ago. Back in November last year, Square Enix announced that the entire remake of the classic strategy RPG for PSP. The game finally got an official release date and news of a Premium Edition just last month. Now, the company has revealed that Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together has unleashed into stores for the Sony portable console.

The game sees various members of the original development team returning to breathe new life to the classic masterpiece in a whole new format. This includes the likes of Hiroshi Minagawa (Director), Akihiko Yoshida (Character Design) and Yasumi Matsuno (Game Design & Scenario). Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata once again take their positions at the composer’s helm for the remake. Furthermore, the character design team is joined by the likes of acclaimed illustrator Tsubasa Masao.

The newly-released Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together is packed with a re-arranged soundtrack, revamped effects and visuals, more replay value, the Chariot Tarot and World Tarot systems and new character growth mechanics. The company further goes on to add that gamers can take complete advantage of four additional scenarios when the main game is accomplished. No additional downloads are need to enjoy A True Knight, The Songstress, The Magnificent Twelve and The Search for Warren.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together features turn-based battles that come alive through stunning sounds, animations and graphics. An enhanced battle engine and inclusion of new 3D maps offers a better gameplay experience. Other attributes include loads of customization options and abilities as well as new characters that weren’t featured in the original title. Thanks to the new Battle Skill ability, players can acquire more than just Magic and Special abilities.

The game can also be found bundled in a special Premium Edition that includes a copy of the game as well as an exclusive Mini Soundtrack CD and a hardback artbook entitled ‘The World of Tactics Ogre’. The box also features a bonus voucher which gamers can avail of a 50% discount while acquiring Vagrant Story from PlayStation Network. Gamers can acquire the title for 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,812).
