Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together remade for PSP, Releases Early Next Year

It appears that nearly each week retro game lovers can expect revived or re-imagined classic titles for their favorite console systems. Seemingly adding an assertive prop to the movement, Square Enix has now publicized an entire remake of the classic strategy RPG Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for the PSP handheld device with an indicative release date in February next year. The company has also announced an exclusive reward of a Tactics Ogre Tarot Card Deck on all pre-orders.

Including considerable fresh content, new characters, redesigned interface and updated graphics along with improved gameplay, the revitalized classic is set to offer multiplicity of pathways and different endings. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together brings in the Chariot Tarot and World Tarot systems that enable players to wind back both key battles and return to decisive plot points in an attempt to change their destiny.

Featuring strategically evolving turn-based battles, spectacular graphics, animation and sound effects, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together also offers new 3D maps, endlessly customization options and new skills for characters. Additionally, the game presents players with hundreds of abilities to employ and 15 new compositions to enjoy in the game together with a re-arranged soundtrack from the original composers.

With previously mentioned features and a lot more to intrigue gamers, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together is scheduled to be released for PSP on February 15, 2011. Players will be able to purchase the game from retail stores for 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,812). As for all the fans who pre-order the game from EB Games Canada, Amazon, Amazon.ca or GameStop, Square Enix has announced a special bonus Tactics Ogre Tarot Card Deck sporting exclusive illustrations by eminent artist Akihiko Yoshida.
