Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together gets Release date, Premium Edition

November last year had Square Enix publicizing an entire remake of the classic strategy RPG Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for PSP and announced a suggestive launch date of February 15, 2011 for North American territory. Now the publisher has confirmed the game’s European release on February 25, 2011. It is further revealing a special Premium Edition for players to avail of the impressive exclusives bundled within.

This PSP reinvention of the classic SNES strategy RPG from back in 1995 is built ground up with reworked visuals and effects, as well as a completely re-arranged soundtrack by the original composers. Few of the key members returning from the original development team include Hiroshi Minagawa (director), Yasumi Matsuno (game design and scenario) along with composers Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata. Moreover, well-known illustrator Tsubasa Masao is joining the character design team to revive the game in a new format.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for PSP features new character growth mechanics and the Chariot Tarot and World Tarot systems which are reported to add ‘even more replay value’ to the game. The Premium Edition of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together encloses a copy of the game, an exclusive Mini Soundtrack CD and ‘The World of Tactics Ogre’, a 44 page hardback artbook. Furthermore allowing players to experience an exciting fervor, the Premium Edition boxes within a bonus voucher to claim 50% off the purchase of Vagrant Story from PSN.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together Premium Edition will start retailing across Europe on February 25, whereas the game is scheduled to acquire store shelves in North America on February 15, 2011 with a price tag of 39.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,812).
