1TB variant of the PS4 to hit India this week

Sony has a 1TB version of its PS4 selling in many of its important markets, and it’s finally time for India to get it now. This higher storage capacity model is set to begin its journey in the country from October 28 onwards. It will be made available in exchange of Rs 37990.

This information has come via Games The Shop, which has put it up on its Facebook page. The retailer has mentioned that the PS4 package will come equipped with two free games as well. These include God of War 3: Remastered Edition and Infamous: Second Son.

As for the already available 500GB version of the PS4 console, it is all set to receive a price drop soon. According to Gadgets 360, this hasn’t happened yet as stock of this variant is being audited right now. Sony has confirmed that the dropped retail value of the system will be revealed by the end of this month.

PS4 Bundle

Sony has constantly been offering bundles of its new 1TB PS4 consoles in other countries, in order to better promote it. Just recently, we saw the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 bundle pop up in the wild, while we also witnessed the launch of the Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection bundle. And then there was the Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate bundle as well.

Sony and Microsoft have a reason to worry about, as Nintendo is expected to announce its next-gen NX console sometime next year. That’s too early for the two companies to come up with their own competitors.
