The next iteration to the much loved PS3-exclusive series is here in the form of Resistance: Burning Skies which has hit the PS Vita today with the latest PS Store update. Another big launch is the Gravity Rush demo which can be downloaded by Vita owners for free. Moreover, the update also brings games like Mad Riders, Pure Chess, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Rayman Origins and other new content.

Resistance: Burning Skies is now out for the Vita through retail as well digital download, and it sells at a price of 35.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,005). Pure Chess which we reported about yesterday, also lands on PSN for the PS3 as well as the PS Vita with its price tagged at 7.99 USD (approx. Rs. 445) for each of the two versions. Techland’s new off-road arcade racing game, Mad Riders is placed at 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 555), while Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Rayman Origins go for 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,340) and 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,670), respectively.
No new free games arrive this week for PS Plus subscribers, but they do receive full game trials of Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Rayman Origins. Plus members can even take advantage of PSN Ultimate bundles and other discounted content. For the PS3, the only free demo is that of Mad Riders, while PS Vita owners can download demos of Resistance: Burning Skies and the much anticipated Gravity Rush which releases on June 12, 2012. Under the PS2 Classics section, Rayman Arena can be found with a price tag of 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 555), whereas on the DLC front, the Rebellion Pack for Mass Effect 3 and the Herley Quinn’s Revenge DLC for Batman: Arkham City steal the show.
