Persona 4 Arena Launching for PS3 Tomorrow

This week’s PlayStation releases are being highlighted by Persona 4 Arena which will be made available through retail for the PS3 tomorrow. On the PSN front, Sound Shapes is ready to arrive along with Hyperdimension Neptunia MK2 and The King of Fighters XIII. And there isn’t any news about GTA III as yet.

As mentioned on the official PlayStation blog, Persona 4 Arena has been developed by BlazBlue-maker Arc System Works, and makes use of hand drawn, high-definition 2D anime style graphics. Its story takes place two months following the events of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, and features characters from that game as well as from Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3.

Sound Shapes will also be released tomorrow via PSN for the PS3 and the PS Vita. This side-scrolling platformer revolves around the creation of music tracks by performing several actions. Being a cross-platform title, it will be purchasable for either the PS3 or the PS Vita, and will be playable on any of the two devices at the same price. The game is part of this year’s PSN Play program.

Another big release lined up for tomorrow is Hyperdimension Neptunia MK2, which will be making its PSN debut following its retail launch in February this year. This RPG acts as a sequel to last year’s Hyperdimension Neptunia. The King of Fighters XIII will be arriving on the PS Store as well. It is the thirteenth installment to the much loved series, and was released back in 2010 for multiple platforms.

Persona 4 Arena will be made available for the PS3 at 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,335). And while Sound Shapes will go for 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 830) on PSN, pricing for the other games will be revealed with the latest PS Store update.
