PS Plus members will get a chance to take a whack at the Assassin’s Creed Revelations multiplayer beta as this week’s PS Store update draws up that and plenty more. The PSN Play program gets its second game in the form of a ‘comical’ action RPG named The Baconing. Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection which combines the three original games with elements like online play, leaderboards, and trophies also debuts on the Store this week.
Those who desire to play the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations multiplayer beta would have to wait until Friday to access the game. This beta contains three maps and nine characters for gamers to experience. As for now, only Plus members get access to it. These members would also get a chance to download God of War: Origins Collection demo which will be made available to other PSN users next week. Apart from discounts on various titles, Plus subscribers would also get a Section 8: Prejudice avatar pack for free.
Other downloaded games for PSN users include Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, 4 Elements HD, Ugly Americans: Apocalypseageddon + Trial and Elevator Action Deluxe, all of which retail for 9.99 USD (approx Rs. 460). Shock Troopers and World Heroes both cost 8.99 USD (approx Rs. 414). The PSN Play title The Baconing can be purchased for 14.99 USD (approx Rs. 690). Demo versions of two games – The Baconing and Ugly Americans: Apocalypseageddon can be downloaded by gamers for free.
The LittleBigPlanet 2 Toy Story 3 Costume Pack has arrived on the PS Store and is priced at 5.99 USD (approx Rs. 275). Other games like No More Heroes, Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3, Homefront and Yoostar 2 get new DLCs. The I’m With the Chili Peppers Pack which features eight songs by the Red Hot Chili Peppers is also available for download now. Call Of Duty Classic can now be purchased from the PS Store at 7.49 USD instead of the earlier price tag of 14.99 USD. Maps and DLCs for other Call of Duty games are also available at discounted rates.
Wakeboarding HD which was released last year, now retails for 4.99 USD with a 1 USD discount for Plus members. PSP users can download the new Madden NFL 12 for 39.99 USD (approx Rs. 1,841). Other games like Cladun X2, Shock Troopers, World Heroes, Snowy: The Bear’s Adventures and Carnivores: Ice Age are also available for PSP users.
The Assassin’s Creed Revelations multiplayer beta will be accessible to Plus members through the PS Store on September 2, 2011.
