One year ago, Sony had pinned its hopes on a game called as Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. They hoped that the action-adventure game would be a system seller but it didn’t turn out as Sony had expected to! Now SCEA has unveiled a limited edition Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune bundle that features a 160GB PS3.
Besides having a 160GB PS3 and the game (of course), the LE Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune 160GB PS3 bundle will also have the Pain PlayStation Network Voucher that will let gamers download the game form the PlayStation Store. The package will also come along with a DualShock 3 Wireless Controller.
Jack Tretton is the president and chief executive officer of SCEA. He says, :As PlayStation Network continues to evolve with our lately launched video delivery service and more exclusive games, PS3 owners are demanding more storage capacity. Consumers also are utilizing PS3 as an entertainment hub for their digital media, placing content such as their entire music collection on the hard drive. The 160GB PS3 system addresses this growing consumer demand in a convincing bundle that delivers significant value.”
The LE Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune 160GB PS3 bundle will be launched sometime in November 2008. It will come with a price tag of $499.99 (approx. Rs. 21, 700). The 160GB PS3 bundle will be released in North America but there is no word from Sony if it will be released in India.
