Mass Effect: Andromeda is getting four novels to explain events after original games

Mass Effect: Andromeda still doesn’t have a proper release date, but we do know that the game will be released by EA during Q1 of next year. In the meantime, fans will have something to chow on, even as novels based on this title have just been announced.

There will be four such books in total. Some of them will be prequels, while others will be sequels. This means that the prequels will be aimed at bridging the gap between the story that transpired in the original Mass Effect trilogy and the happenings in the upcoming game from the franchise.

This story indeed needs an explanation, as the original series had taken place in the Milky Way and the next one, as its name suggests, will transpire in the Andromeda galaxy. The narrative won’t feature the Reapers, but has indeed been revealed to include ‘a new and deadly enemy.’
