Batman: Return to Arkham gets delayed indefinitely

PS4 and Xbox One owners waiting for Batman: Return to Arkham to enter the realm will be disappointed to know that the game has been delayed by its makers. What’s worse is that it hasn’t even been given a further release date, indicating that there’s still a lot of time for this collection to come out.

July 29 was when Batman: Return to Arkham was supposed to be released earlier. However, Warner Bros. has now confirmed that it has been delayed indefinitely. The reason for this is that after having reviewed the progress, the company has decided to give the developers additional time to polish these two games.

For those unaware, Batman: Return to Arkham will feature visually revamped versions of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City to be played on the PS4 and the Xbox One. The interesting part is that they are being ported to Unreal Engine 4. Also, the third entry to this series, Batman: Arkham Origins has been let out of the collection.

Batman: Return to Arkham

That’s presumably because it acts as a prequel to the first two titles and also due to its developer not being Rocksteady. It is to be noted that apart from the two games, this bundle will also come equipped with all the previously released downloadable content for them.

The latest main game from this series was Batman: Arkham Knight which was launched in June 2015. It follows the same gameplay basics of its predecessors, but adds several new ones like a more open world approach and the ability to drive the Batmobile.
