Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay leaks reveals jetpack travel and more

One of the most anticipated games for RPG fans right now is Mass Effect: Andromeda which will take place in a completely different timeline than the one featured in the original trilogy. While its makers have been extremely secretive about this upcoming offering, a leak has now gone on to reveal what exactly its gameplay will look like.

Mass Effect: Andromeda it seems will feature jetpack travel for helping the characters move quickly in its environments. The video in question (watch it here) mainly wishes to focus on the graphical advancements which have made their way into the game.

It has come via a NeoGAF user named Taker34 who has claimed to have received it from a ‘certain developer’ who is currently working on Mass Effect: Andromeda. The thread which contains this video has also had another user comment that the footage looks like it has come from a 2014 build of the game, indicating that the current visuals are way better than those shown in the video.

Mass Effect Andromeda is being developed by BioWare right now for the PS4, the Xbox One and PC, using the Frostbite 3 engine. The game will stick to the series familiar gameplay style which involves action-based role-playing as well as third-person shooting.

Very few details about its story are available right now, but what we do know is that it will take place long after the events that were portrayed in Mass Effect 3. Moreover, as its name indicates, it will take place in the Andromeda galaxy this time around.
