Max Payne 3 PC Requirements Displayed

With the game’s release date fast approaching, this might be the apt time for gamers to start sprucing up their systems in accordance to the Max Payne 3 PC requirements which were revealed by Rockstar Games earlier today. Apart from this information, three PC screenshots and details regarding the game’s digital pre-order incentives have also hit the scene.

The title’s PC version will be outed a while later than its console counterparts, on May 29. The Max Payne 3 PC requirements start off with the OS, and it has been disclosed that the game will work fine with 32/64 bit versions of either Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP. The recommended minimum processor requirements mention Intel dual core 2.4GHz – i7 3930K 6 core x 3.06GHz or AMD dual core 2.6GHz – FX8150 8 core x 3.6GHz as the ideal chips to run the game.

A post on Rockstar Games’ official blog, read, “Today, we’ve got brand new screenshots from the PC version of Max Payne 3 along with updated details and system specifications. Developed in parallel with the game’s console versions, Max Payne 3 for PC supports DirectX11 including tessellation, as well as a number of additional advanced graphics options and is optimized to run across a wide range of PC setups.”

As far as memory is concerned, anywhere between 2GB to 16GB of RAM will be sufficient. The required GPUs fit between the Nvidia 8600 GT 512MB VRAM to the Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 2GB VRAM, while AMD fans can opt for graphics cards between the Radeon HD 3400 512MB VRAM to the Radeon HD 7970 3GB VRAM. The game is fully compatible with DirectX 9.0 as well as Dolby Digital Live. It should be noted however, that it will gobble up as much as 35GB of hard disk space.
