Spore Galactic Adventures is the first expansion pack to the highly successful and extremely addictive game Spore. Previously we reported that the Spore universe had been filled with 100 million creations and that Spore Galactic Adventures would get a few adventures from the writers of Robot Chicken. Now we have word that Spore Galactic Adventures has hit over 100,000 user-created adventures.
The game provides an Adventure Creator which is very simple and easy to use. With the help of this, users have let their creativity flow out onto custom made adventures. Several adventures such as The Fog, Valley of a Thousand Deaths and The Silent Beacon are available from the game’s Sporepedia at the game’s official site.
The expansion lets players explore many whacky planets and turn their characters into space captains. Playing through the missions, their captains earn experience and obtain powerful items like the Swarm Magnet and the Plasma Pulser. Players can also indulge in the humour by downloading 10 totally new adventures created expressly by the Robot Chicken writers.
Spore Galactic Adventures is available for the PC and Mac for a price of 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,445).
