Spore is the multi-genre massive single player online game which allows players to control factors leading to the evolution of a species. Maxis had launched the Spore Creature Creator in June 2008 and has since then had fans of the game create and upload more than 100 Million creations.
This averages out to over 307,000 a day on the Sporepedia, the Spore library of user-generated content. Among the 100 Million creations are 31,017,761 Spore creatures including beaked coralfish. The other pieces of content include intricate atom models and whimsical snow globes. Also, an Nvidia GeForce 9800GT graphics card, Spore and the yet to be released Spore Galactic Adventures expansion pack may be handed out to the creator of the 100 Millionth creation.

We can’t wait to see the ingenuity our players reveal through the missions they create in Spore Galactic Adventures!”
Spore utilizes open-ended gameplay in which creatures, created by the players themselves are the lifeblood of the Spore franchise. In the expansion pack titled Spore Galactic Adventures, players will be able to create a Space Captain and various missions, with the Adventure Creator, which they can then play and share with other players through the Sporepedia.
In the months to come, the Spore franchise will grow with Spore Hero for the Wii, Spore Hero Arena for the Nintendo DS and the Spore Galactic Adventures expansion for the PC and Mac. Spore Hero and Spore Hero Arena will arrive in the fall of 2009 allowing players to save their planet as a customized heroic creature. Spore Galactic Adventures will be available on June 26, 2009 and the prices for these three games have not been mentioned.
