Left 4 Dead PC System Requirements Revealed

Earlier this month we had reported that Valve had confirmed that there would indeed be demo versions of the Xbox 360 and PC editions of Left 4 Dead. However, one thing that PC gamers want to know about the game is the system requirements. Now the Left 4 Dead PC system requirements for the PC have been revealed.

Left 4 Dead PC Specs

Doug Lombardi from Valve sent a mail to the HalfLife2.net forums about the PC requirements of Left 4 Dead. Here are the details:

    OS: Windows Vista, XP or 2000.
    CPU: 3.0 GHz P4, Dual Core 2.0 or AMD64X2 (or higher)
    RAM: 1 GB for XP / 2GB for Vista.
    Disc drive: DVD-ROM Drive.
    Hard drive: At least 7.5 GB of free space.
    Video: Direct X 9 compatible video card (Video card must be 256 MB or more and should be a DirectX 9-compatible with support for pixel shader 2.0).
    Sound: Direct X9.0c compatible sound card.

Left 4 Dead is expected to be out later this year in November for the PC and the Xbox 360. The survival horror shooter game was supposed to be out last year but it got delayed and Valve decided that it would release later this year.
