Left 4 Dead Demo for Xbox 360 and PC Confirmed by Valve

When you think of survival horror games, you think of the Resident Evil series or the Alone in the Dark Series. But Valve also announced a co-op survival horror first person shooter called as Left 4 Dead in 2006. Now Gabe Newell has confirmed that there will be a Left 4 Dead demo.

Gabe Newell is the co-founder and managing director of Valve. He told gaming news website Video Gamer, “We will be releasing demos for both the Xbox and for the PC. I don’t know what the date is for release on that, though. I think it’s going to contain the first part of one of the campaigns. I think it’ll probably be Hospital but I’m not sure. That’s a decision that Doug Lombardi is making.”

Left 4 Dead has been eagerly awaited by the gamers but last year it emerged that it was delayed till 2008. Newell was also quizzed whether gamers will be able to play the Left 4 Dead demo online. He replied that gamers will be able to play single-player and co-op in the demo of Left 4 Dead. The shooter is expected to be out in November this year for the Xbox 360 and PC.
