The final batch of DLC packs for New Super Marion Bros. 2 has made its way to the Nintendo eShop, and can be downloaded now on the 3DS and the 3DS XL consoles. These two add-ons are called the Mystery Adventure Pack and the Impossible Pack, and are aimed at the Coin Rush mode of the game which encourages players to collect as many gold ones as possible in the given time. They can be accessed from the in-game Shop menu within the title.
While the Mystery Adventure Pack is said to offer labyrinthine courses filled with different pathways, the Impossible Pack supposedly grants the toughest challenges that Mario fans will ever have faced. The former comes equipped with three courses. These are aimed at challenging gamers to search for the various paths that are spread throughout them. Course 1 has gamers exploring underground routes, while Course 2 sees them riding on flying blocks. Course 3 on the other hand needs players to find their way to the end.
Furthermore, the Impossible Pack takes the difficulty to extreme levels in classic SMB style. Being dubbed as some of the hardest levels in Super Mario history, these stages contain not even a single power up or a coin. The only way to grab the coins is to rush through the course as quickly as possible. But getting to the end too is not going to be an easy task.
These two add-ons now join as many as eight packs that have already made their way to the eShop for this much popular game. First among the lot were the Gold Rush, Coin Challenge and Nerve-Wrack packs that were released in October this year. The same month also saw the Gold Mushroom and Coin Challenge Pack B DLC being launched. And then in November came the Gold Classics Pack which kicked in classic levels from previous Mario games. Earlier this December, the Coin Challenge Pack C and Platform Panic Pack add-ons were released by Nintendo.
