Three packs of three new courses each are all set to be released in North America for the much loved New Super Mario Bros. 2 tomorrow. This content has already been launched for the game in Europe. Each of the packs is priced at 2.50 USD (approx. Rs. 130), and includes different accompaniments in terms of gameplay scenarios. In addition, more such DLC has been announced to be gearing up for launch at the end of October as well as at the end of November.
As mentioned in the headline, these packs are all meant for the game’s Coin Rush mode which provides players with three randomly selected levels to tread and collect coins in. However, the ones in the add-ons will proffer three specific levels and that too, in the same order every time. Apart from the three new courses, the add-ons will each have their own difficulty settings.
For instance, the Gold Rush Pack will be aimed at beginners, and will contain heaps of coins for them to grab easily. The Coin Challenge Pack on the other hand, will be aimed at competitive gamers, and will make use of the title’s website to track rankings based on the scores for this add-on, thus enabling them to compare theirs with those of other players. Lastly, the Nerve-Wrack Pack is said to contain ‘new challenges’ for veteran gamers.
