Nintendo downloadable games bring Theatrhythm Final Fantasy DLC

Square Enix released Theatrhythm Final Fantasy in July this year, and it is now supporting the game’s launch by introducing several new DLC tracks which are part of the latest list of Nintendo downloadable games. This week will also see the release of the immensely anticipated New Super Mario Bros. 2 which will be launched simultaneously through retail as well as via the eShop for the 3DS.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is a rhythm game which relies upon music from the previous FF games for its melodies. The new content released this week includes songs from almost all the main entries to the iconic series. They can be downloaded by gamers now for the 3DS from within the game.

Crazy Chicken: Pirates 3D is another title which releases this week for the 3DS as well as for the DS. It has been described as a point and shoot action game wherein players must aim at birds that are dashing through an island. It features hand-drawn graphics and encourages gamers to look for hidden coins, jewels and skulls that are spread across the island. This title sells on the eShop and the DSi Shop at 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 110) and 200 Points, respectively.

In the weeks running into the launch of New Super Mario Bros. 2, Nintendo has been offering deals on previous Mario games, and this week, it’s the turn of Mario’s Picross. Till August 22, this game will be offered on the eShop at a discounted price of 2.99 USD (approx. Rs. 165).

The highlight however of this week’s Nintendo downloadable games is definitely New Super Mario Bros. 2 which comes out tomorrow through the eShop.
