‘A Month of Mario,’ a sale which is discounting games based on the beloved character in the weeks running up to the launch of the latest game under the franchise, has brought a price cut for Super Mario Land through this week’s Nintendo downloadable games. The Lost Town – The Jungle and 3D Solitaire are the only other games that have been released this week.
Super Mario Land is available to purchase for the 3DS at a discounted price of 2.99 USD (approx. Rs. 165). The offer can be availed of only till August 8, 2012. First launched for the Game Boy in 1989, this platformer transpires in the kingdom of Sarasaland, where a strange alien has hypnotized the inhabitants and kidnapped Princess Daisy. Mario must now run, jump and bounce his way to saving the kingdom and rescuing the princess.
The Lost Town – The Jungle is a DSiWare title which offers players action adventure gameplay that revolves around some mysterious occurrences that are taking place in the Amazon jungle during the year 1997. Gamers play as Chilia, who has been equipped with special combat skills that are necessary to get rid of the strange creatures in the jungles. It sells on the DSi Shop at 200 Points.
3D Solitaire is the final title to have hit this week’s download list. This 3DS offering couples the classic card game with 3D environments. It features 2 modes, and can be bought now through the eShop at 2.99 USD (approx. Rs. 165). A video clip named Dinosaur Office: Coffee Run has also been deployed via the eShop for the Nintendo Video series.
Lastly, this week’s Nintendo downloadable games begin the rolling out of videos that are supposed to offer a special look at the upcoming New Super Mario Bros. 2. The first such video is out now on the eShop.
