This week’s Nintendo Download is here, and with it come 5 titles and a video which can be picked up from the company’s eShop. One is a completely new racer, one a demo, the third a classic puzzler. The final 2 games rounding it up let gamers hunt wild animals in Africa and shoot at errant virulent particles. Previous offerings have brought with them games including Commando: Steel Disaster, Super Mario Land and the versatile VectorRacing.

SpeedX 3D described as a ‘stunning tunnel racer,’ is for the Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL. Published by Gamelion Studios, the racer offers players a total of 4 game modes and transports them into a world filled with electronic music and hypnotic graphics.
The next game to come the way of Nintendo fans is a demo, that of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy to be precise. Available now from the Nintendo eShop for the 3DS and 3DS XL, it commands gamers to tap and slide on a few timeless tracks from the Final Fantasy series. Players can even join in the nostalgia pairing up with some of the franchise’s iconic characters and winging it against familiar villains and monsters.

The Game Boy Classic from 2001, Toki Tori comes to new gamers on the 3DS and the 3DS XL, giving them a taste of somewhat old school puzzlers. Players must keep a tiny, lovable, chicken safe from a variety of monsters and traps. The kicker is that there is a timer to make things more interesting. Collecting all eggs before the time runs out is definitely no mean feat.
Two new releases include Outdoors Unleashed: Africa 3D and Escape the Virus: Shoot’em Up. The first lets players hunt 15 big game animals, including the big 5, in the deepest reaches of Africa, while the second brings out a new side of the action puzzle series with Shooter and Territory gameplay modes.

In addition to the games released this week, there is a Nintendo Video featuring Awolnation in a video for ‘Kill Your Heroes,’ a parody of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. It depicts to hilarious effect, the things that happen when kids are left unsupervised while watching the band’s Fun Time.
Each of the above games is available for a price of 3.99 USD (approx. Rs. 220), except for Escape the Virus: Shoot’em Up which can be purchased for 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 110) on the Nintendo 3DS and for 200 Points from the Nintendo DSi Shop.
