The gaming domain will witness the advent of a new handheld system in about a month’s time. While Nintendo has been clearing the way for 3DS’ arrival, it recently allowed us to peep into the list of games which will accompany the device. Confirming a part of the news, a post on the official Sega blog has revealed that Super Monkey Ball 3D will release alongside the gaming hardware on March 27, 2011.
As we’d reported previously, Super Monkey Ball 3D revives the classic arcade franchise which was originally developed by Amusement Vision. This new installment in the series has been set against colorful environments while unleashing a vibrant world full of twisted lanes and turns.
In the title, players will need to collect maximum number of bananas at a rapid pace through three gameplay modes. These choices include single-player puzzle levels namely Monkey Race and Monkey Fight. Additionally, gamers can immerse in a multiplayer quest with up to three other players using the device’s wireless connection.
Designed exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS, Super Monkey Ball 3D has been scheduled to hit stores on the same day as the handheld console. We’ve not yet heard about the official pricing details of this game.
