This holiday season will be drenched in the euphoria of new adventures as Nintendo is all set to kick off the action. Last month, the company announced the return of its beloved classic with Super Mario Collection Special Pack. It has now revealed a new title dubbed Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! for Nintendo DS owners.
This new chapter in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong franchise continues the battle between the two characters. It captures an exciting escapade during the inauguration of Mario’s new theme park where Pauline takes the seat of the special guest. As a mark of celebration, the first 100 guests at the park are presented with a mini Pauline toy. However, the 101st visitor namely Donkey Kong turns red and abducts the guest of honor when not gifted with the toy.
Gamers will have to steer the way for Mini Marios with their stylus across 200 new action-puzzle levels. Infused with innovative traps set by Donkey Kong, the title extends a thrilling experience as it allows players to traverse over pits, construct conveyor belts and place warp pipes. The intuitive interface and the in-game Help Mode enhance the overall experience whereas the new Mini Guide will come handy for cracking difficult levels.
In addition, the Challenge Mode will fashion different levels on the basis of certain criteria while gamers can select their favorites. The Construction Zone facilitates players to create their own stages as the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection makes it possible for them to share their levels with others. It will also enable gamers to access levels constructed by their friends.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! has been scheduled for a November 14, 2010 release.
