Back in July, Microsoft launched the Forza Motorsport 3 World Class Car Pack which introduced a series of cars from the house of McLaren, Mercedes, Cadillac and others. This month, the Forza Motorsport 3 Ultimate Collection will be unleashed for gamers, announcing the alliance between the racing title and Top Gear.
Encompassing all earlier released game add-ons, the Forza Motorsport 3 Ultimate Collection rolls out an assortment of 500 cars and over 100 track configurations. It also embraces an Xbox Live DLC dubbed Stig’s Garage Car Pack which allows players to access three new cars including The Koenigsegg CCX, Lexus LFA, and Mercedes Benz SLS-AMG.
Dan Greenawalt, Franchise Director at Turn 10, explained, “Bringing together Top Gear and Forza Motorsport is a natural fit. Top Gear is all about automotive passion and playing around with cars which is exactly what we deliver with Forza Motorsport games. We are looking forward to collaborating with their team to bring some of what they do so well on television to our game design process.”

It has been disclosed that the pack also comprises 90 minutes of exclusively crafted Top Gear TV content. This video covers Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May from Top Gear along with an Xbox Live Theme. Unfurling an exhilarating experience for enthusiasts, the franchise has joined hands with BBC’s Top Gear team which will lead to the brand’s inclusion into products of the series’ upcoming titles.
The Forza Motorsport 3 Ultimate Collection will zoom into the UK and Ireland on October 29, 2010.
