DuckTales: Remastered now available for Android, iOS and WP devices

Capcom’s attempt at reviving the DuckTales mania by re-mastering a 1989 NES classic and porting it to modern platforms was appreciated by fans a great deal when it was first released. The game is now received a wider release, as it has just been made available for Android, iOS as well as Windows Phone devices globally. It can be grabbed currently for 9.99 USD or around Rs 630 through the Google Play store, Apple App Store or the Windows Phone Store.

DuckTales: Remastered

Created by Capcom and WayForward Technologies, DuckTales: Remastered was announced in 2013 as a complete overhaul of the original game. It August of the same year, it was released for the PS3, Wii U and PC through PSN, the Nintendo eShop and Steam, while a launch through Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 took place in September. In August, a physical retail version of the game was also outed for the PS3. This variant went to arrive on the Xbox 360 and the Wii U in November 2013. And it’s finally now that the title has been brought onto the Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms.

DuckTales: Remastered features 2.5D graphics, apart from 2D hand-drawn character sprites and 3D modeled levels. More importantly, while the original NES game featured subtitles for character conversations, this new game kicks in actual spoken conversations in its cutscenes. And who better to voice the characters than the people who lent their voices to the DuckTales TV series. Everyone from Alan Young to June Foray have reprised their roles for this game.

Like we said, DuckTales: Remastered can be downloaded now through the Google Play store, the Apple App Store and the Windows Phone Store by those who have compatible devices.
