The guys over at Zen Studios recently revealed to the world Marvel’s The Avengers Pinball table that’s scheduled to release as part of the Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles game. With 6 playable characters including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, each of them is said to feature a customized ball designed in their own appearance and power set.
This new addition will place all 6 heroes against Loki’s invasion of Earth, which is heavily based on ‘The Avengers’ movie that debuted around a week ago. On completing specific missions that are assigned for each ball, players will be able to activate the wizard mode.
“It’s a truly historic day here at the House of Ideas, as Marvel’s The Avengers is finally making its way to American theaters. I’ve seen it. It’s awesome. I’m pretty sure you’ll agree with me soon. (Maybe you already do.) As Interactive Manager at Marvel, it’s been my pleasure to work with Zen Studios on the video-pinball adaptation of the film, which, as one of four great tables in Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles should be headed your way in just a few weeks,” commented Chris Baker, Manager, Licensed Games, Marvel Studios through a post made on the official PlayStation US blog.
The Zen Pinball 2 title comes bearing the Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles 4-pack set which incorporates Marvel’s The Avengers table as well. Through this release, avid gamers will have access to all previous Marvel Pinball and Zen Pinball launches within a single interface. What’s more, it even allows gamers to switch between playing from a PS3 and a Vita console without losing progress, free of cost.
Slated to be coming soon, Marvel’s The Avengers Pinball table will be available through Pinball FX2 on the Xbox Live Arcade and via Zen Pinball 2 for the PS3 as well as Vita consoles. Price details for the game aren’t disclosed by the company as yet.
