Looks like gamers who own Pinball FX2 are in for a treat, as Zen Studios has announced that a new Paranormal table will go free for a span of two weeks on Xbox Live. Released just in time for Halloween, this table will require players to first download a free Pinball FX2 platform for it to function in the game.
On this new table, players will assume the role of a paranormal detective and investigate strange and supernatural phenomena including hauntings, weird creatures, and mysterious lapses in the laws of nature. It will be equipped with four different minigames on its rotatable mini playing field. Moreover, paranormal events, time portals and floating objects are also supposed to be a part of this table.
“In celebration of one year of Pinball FX2, and as a big THANK YOU to all of our supporters, we are happy to offer the new Paranormal table free for one week! For players who have not yet joined the Pinball FX2 community, this is the perfect time to come and experience the game,” explained, Mel Kirk, Zen Studios Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.
A sequel to the popular Pinball FX, this title is an Xbox Live exclusive which was released in October last year. Various new features like local multiplayer and the ability to tweak table settings were added to Pinball FX2. The game is now available to download for free through Xbox Live, but it includes tables that can only be played with a set time limit. A Core version of the title can be acquired at 800 Microsoft Points to unlock four tables.
The new Paranormal table for Pinball FX2 is currently available for free via Xbox Live, but gamers must note that this offer is valid only for two weeks.
