Call of Duty Vanguard’s Zombie Mode Gets Showcased

Call of Duty Vanguard

Call of Duty Vanguard is ready for a November 11 release and as is tradition, it will come with a Zombie mode. This part of the game has been revealed via a trailer that was earlier leaked online. Plenty of zombie-slaying action is to be seen here, along with a story set during World War II, which is also the setting of the main game.

Fans would be pleased to know that Call of Duty Vanguard’s Zombie mode has been developed by Treyarch. While Sledgehammer Games is responsible for the development of the main game, responsibilities of only the Zombie mode have been handed over to Treyarch, which was the studio that had added zombies to the Call of Duty mix for the first time.

The story of Vanguard’s Zombie mode will be a prequel to that of Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies mode. An occult setting is being explored this time around. If you’ve played the multiplayer beta of the game, you’ll notice that the visuals in the trailer are from the Hotel Royal map of the game.

Call of Duty Vanguard will be the eighteenth installment in the series and will have its story revolve around the birth of new special forces that have been developed to face an emerging threat at the end of World War II in various theatres of the war across the world.

While this game continues the series’ adoption of historic storylines, the latest Battlefield is moving into the future with its narrative. Battlefield 2042 will take place in a world ravaged by climate change where the US and Russia are engaged in a war. This game will be a multiplayer-only affair this time around.

On the other hand, Call of Duty Vanguard will feature both single-player and multiplayer gameplay.
